Across Tanzania, the way people live, work, and build their futures has been steadily shifting. From small businesses growing through social platforms, to young creators finding audiences beyond borders, to everyday moments like payments, learning, and entertainment, digital has quietly become part of how life moves.
For Yas, being a digital ally has always meant supporting that progress. Over the past few years, the company has focused on building a network that doesn’t just reach people, but keeps up with how they live. That journey has been backed by significant investment, national expansion, and consistent recognition including being named the fastest network in Tanzania for three consecutive years.
With that foundation in place, Yas is now turning its attention to something more tangible for customers: experience.
It is this shift that informs the launch of the “Zingatia Mtandao wa Viwango” campaign an invitation for Tanzanians to look beyond basic connectivity and focus on the quality of the network they rely on every day.
Over time, the company has invested more than TZS 1 trillion into expanding and modernising its network infrastructure, growing its footprint to over 4,800+ sites and reaching more than 95% of the population across both urban and rural areas.
Now, the emphasis is not just on what has been built, but on how it is experienced whether that’s running a business online without interruption, attending a class without disruption, or simply staying connected without having to think twice about it.
To bring the campaign to life, Yas showed up where people already are. The launch featured a live radio takeover on Clouds Media Group’s popular Cloud Radio segment creating a moment of real-time connection with listeners across the country. It was a one-time, high-energy engagement, with a sit-down featuring Yas’ Brand Manager and CTO, speaking directly to audiences in a space they know and enjoy. More than anything, it was about presence connecting with young Tanzanians, celebrating the journey, and bringing the message closer to everyday life.
Because ultimately, network quality isn’t something you explain from a distance. It’s something people recognise when it works naturally, consistently, and without effort.
